About Us
Ndege Chai Housing Cooperative Society was registered on 6thAugust, 2004. The cooperative membership stands at 17,000. According to the By-Laws, and any person above 18 years of age, residing within the republic of Kenya is eligible to be a member of the cooperative.
The Society is governed seven(7) Central Management Committee members , three(3) supervisory committee members and one (1) one staff member whose title is The Housing Manager.

Membership
According to the available statistics, the membership of the cooperative society stood at 17,000 as at the time of drawing the strategic plan, havingrisen from 3000 members three years ago.
Governance
Ndege chai sacco is govern through a delegate system, there are 53 units and each unit represented by delegates who are elected by the members one delegate for every two hundred members and a maximum of four delegates per unit, the Delegates then elect seven board of Directors and three Supervisory Committee members

Naftali Langat
Naftali Langat has played his role in growing the cooperative membership from a paltry 3,000 to the current more than 20,000. His decisive, targeted, optimistic, and ambitious leadership acumen has born fruits.
James Chobit
James Chobit is the longest serving member of the Board having been elected for the first time more than a decade ago. He is ambitious, industrious, a team-player and quite likable. He is forward looking and authoritatively focused.
